The Kurd 10 note drum includes both major and minor tonalities blended to create a versatile drum with many melodies ready to come to life. It doesn’t limit itself to one style or feeling, so you can easily let your spirit flow through the drum.
It has so many personalities to play with that you won't get bored easily.
How it Feels
This drum feels like a day dream on a relaxed Saturday. It is totally open to allow you to express whatever emotion is flowing through you at the time. The major and minor tones blend together for a beautiful sound scape of optimism, mystery, and curiosity.
Playability
The Kurd 10 is a 10 note tongue drum, which means it has an extra note at the top of the drum. The extra note allows for an additional low note that adds a rich bass note to the chords you play.
It is easy to find a melody using this drum, and it is also great for playing with steel string instruments like mandolin, guitar, dobro, etc. It is great for jamming with friends, as well as for personal playing and meditation.
Materials and Build
Drums made of tone tempered steel and sealed with a powder coat finish that is very tough, UV resistant, weather resistant and doesn’t pollute the environment or outgas like other paints.

Size - 12 inch diameter X 8 inches tall, able to sit comfortably in your lap.

I got my F Big Bear yesterday and I can't put it down. It is absolutely beautiful. Family and friends all love it and I'm pretty sure they'll be potential customers in the near future. Wonderful Sound
I'm a fan of this scale, such a beautiful sound with lots of possibilities for expression. The first day I got it, passers-by heard me playing it in the lobby of my apartment building and stopped, listened, offered compliments and wanted to know what it is and where they could get one. The dream-like melodies are so calming and bring forth images of nature and fond memories of special moments with family and friends. I can tell that this fantastic little instrument is going to be shared and enjoyed by new and old friends alike. I chose the blue chameleon finish with sparkles and it looks amazing!

LOVE this Drum!
I spent a lot of time researching and listening to various drums and scales before deciding on the Kurd10, and I absolutely LOVE my new drum!! It's beautiful in every way. I keep it on my sofa so every time I sit down, I play it. The resonance is so perfect - the sound rich and balanced, and my cats love it too when I play :) No matter what notes I play randomly, it sounds amazing. I've discovered that rotating it, sometimes with the center tongue facing left or right, the sound changes, which makes it fun and interesting. I'm thrilled with my purchase and will definitely recommend you to my friends. Thank you so much for bringing joy into my life!

Great Drum!
This is my first drum. I play it almost everyday and love it. The sounds are beautiful. It is definitely worth the price. The free videos were very helpful in understanding the drum and tips on how to play it. I would recommend these drums to anybody, even amateurs.

I love this drum...
... but I love all of them! It's hard to pick a favorite Manastone drum- I've played many of them and they are equally amazing to play, each with its own unique qualities. But the ten-note models have that added deep bass note, which sets them just a little apart. Rich and resonant, they are deeply satisfying to play.
