Having trouble choosing just one scale? If you can narrow your favorites down to two scales, we can put them both on the same drum for you!
The best thing about double-sided drums is that you get two drums in one. Maybe one day you are feeling scale #1 and the next day you feel differently and are enjoying scale #2 more. The double-sided drums give you the benefit of a little extra variety.
Choose complimentary scales for each side so that you can flip the drum mid performance and change the key of the song.
You could choose for both sides to have the same scale family, for example, choosing the same scale in different keys, such as D & E Big Bear, means you'll have the same feeling at different pitches--one lower, one higher. In this example, the key changes, but the signature "cosmic mystery" of the Big Bear scale is maintained on both sides of the drum.
Choosing different scales means you'll have two entirely different feelings. Some scales may or may not work together melodically at the same time, and in that case will be used separately. You may uncover new ways your scales work together as you experiment with your drum's unique combination.

The minimal design profile travels well at 12”/31cm diameter 8”/20cm tall & 9.5 lbs./4.5kg, yet it’s eye-catching & looks beautiful on display. The drum has a domed, ergonomic shape that easily fits in the lap allowing the wrists to remain comfortable in a parallel position. The smooth finish on the exterior & interior make it easy to clean & disinfect & is designed to last a lifetime if cared for as instructed.

I got my F Big Bear yesterday and I can't put it down. It is absolutely beautiful. Family and friends all love it and I'm pretty sure they'll be potential customers in the near future. Music to My Ears
I love my drum. I have no musical background that does not stop me from making what I think is beautiful music on my ManaStone Drum. I like the two sided drum for the simple fact if I want to change it up all I have to do is turn it over and I have a whole new set of notes. Customer service with this company is top notch!!!
