Benefit 

The best thing about double sided drums is that you get two drums in one.  This combination of E Big Bear and D Big Bear allows you to switch back and forth between complimentary keys.  Do a key change in the middle of your jam by turning the drum to the other side.  Using the same Big Bear scale format on both sides means you can switch from side to side all while maintaining the signature "cosmic mystery" vibe of the Big Bear scale.

Steel tongue drums are perfect for families.  We like to equate them to being the new family piano, accept it's smaller, easier to play, more fun, and more affordable.  Anybody in the family can sit down with a Manastone and have a good time making beautiful music. 

The intuitive nature of this instrument also ensures that each persons style will sound different depending on the unique ways they experience rhythm and melody.  It's a beautiful form of self-discovery to play a Manastone and to learn about yourself from the music that is naturally flowing through you.  

Design & Sound Characteristics: We offer a handcrafted instrument of beauty rich in sound & sight. The Manastone is designed with a taller chamber & the hole on top resulting in a richer acoustic tone, louder sound & wider range of notes than manufactured steel tongue drums. This full sound resonates with rich harmonic layers & volume that carries indoors.  You get the attributes of a larger handpan but in a smaller, more portable & less-expensive instrument. Value meets master craftsmanship.

Options to Add Pickup: 

We can add a Piezo pickup to your drum for an additional $35.  The pickups sounds great and allow you to plug into an amplifier for a performance or to play with different effects like reverb and delay that can create an even bigger and thicker sound.
